The Milan leg of the Sustainability Tour

The Sustainability Tour by CNC Media and 3Bee is an ambitious and innovative project that aims to make new generations aware of environmental sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda. On 17 April 2023 the first stage of the tour took place in Milan: in the morning we met the students of the Liceo Giosué Carducci and in the afternoon we moved to the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. The first stop in Milan was attended by more than 500 students with whom we talked about sustainability at 360 degrees: the aim of the tour is in fact to provide students with food for thought on how each of us can contribute to preserving our planet.

What it means to be a Biodiversity Storyteller

Marta Toppan, Brand Manager and Biodiversity Storyteller of 3Bee, was the speaker at the Milan leg of the Sustainability Tour. In her speech, Marta explained to the students her role, the challenges involved and the job opportunities in the field of sustainability. "It is not every day that you can enthuse and inspire young people to embark on career paths and learn skills that apply sustainability in a transversal way. Give them the time to discuss the 2030 Agenda together," says Marta, "and above all, finally give them answers and solutions, like those of 3Bee, which has grown thanks to the specialised and flexible team that has been able to adapt to the challenges, particularly in the area of biodiversity protection. Doing marketing has always been a educational medium, with more or less positive messages depending on the cultural and temporal context, today more than ever it is the only effective channel for creating conscious habits."

    Student feedback

During the first leg of the Sustainability Tour, students showed great interest in the topics of sustainability and the protection of biodiversity. During the meetings, the participants showed strong active participation, interacting with the speakers and discussing the topics. The involvement of the students made the first two meetings a valuable opportunity for education and awareness-raising on sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Representatives from some of Italy's most important institutions - which sponsored the tour - also took part, including ASVIS - Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development and Italian Youth Association for UNESCO, as well as Barbascura, Italy's most popular science speaker.

3Bee's role in the Sustainability Tour

3Bee is co-organiser and main partner of the Sustainability Tour. We are proud to be part of this ambitious education project in which we strongly believe, because the new generations have to face the climate challenges and related issues with greater awareness and competence than previous generations. With this tour we therefore want to raise awareness of environmental issues and provide students with useful tools to actively contribute to positive change and build the companies of the future in a sustainable way. At 3Bee, we are committed to promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda, and with the Sustainability Tour we want to contribute in a tangible way to the awareness of young high school and university students.

Next stop on the tour: Bologna

The Tour of Sustainability continues: Tuesday 18 April we will arrive in Bologna to meet in the morning the students of the Augusto Righi High School and, in the afternoon, the students of the Alma Mater Studiorum University. In addition to our CEO Niccolò Calandri, who will be present at all the stops on the tour, Simone Mazzola, Biodiversity Engineer of 3Bee, will be speaking in Bologna to explain to students what an engineer has to do with bees, pollinators and biodiversity and to deepen the issues related to his role in this field. The Bologna stop is already sold out, but we invite you to follow our journey on our social channels, in particular Instagram and LinkedIn.
