3Bee And The Garden Of Ariadne: Eco-Bio With Honey

    3Bee's approach to biodiversity protection

3Bee is the Nature Tech company that develops technologies for the protection of biodiversity. 3Bee Hive-Tech is 3Bee's first system for analysing the health and 'starvation' status of honeybees, environmental pests par excellence. Over time, we have developed other technologies to study and monitor all the pollinating insects and created more than 200 Oases of Biodiversity with thousands of nectariferous plants to provide them with nourishment. Thus, we want to create a virtuous circle: our beekeepers are transformed by necessity into Oasis growers and promoters of environmental biodiversity. We do not encourage massive production and intensive breeding, which have a negative impact on biodiversity and pollinators. We do, however, recognise the value of honey as a valuable symbol of the biodiversity of an environment and a tool for disseminating the commitment and protection of an area, to be consumed sparingly and with respect for the life cycle of these insects.

    Eco-bio cosmetics

Eco-organic cosmetics, above all, is distinguished by its interest in natural, genuine products that respect the environment and our health. It is therefore no coincidence that the companies promoting this 'conscious cosmetics' have approached the world of bees and our environmental sustainability projects. An example of this is The Garden of Ariadne, an e-commerce of eco-biological products, which since 2006 has stood out for its focus on the search for valuable products that respect the environment and our health.

3Bee and Ariadne's Garden: sustainable collaboration

It was precisely from these shared interests that a wonderful collaboration was born! The Garden of Ariadne has decided to adopt a beehive monitored with 3Bee systems, supporting as many as 60,000 bees and thus contributing to the pollination of some 60 million flowers! Bees are extremely important for our planet because they are true 'agents of biodiversity'. To their daily pollination work we also owe most of the food we eat every day. What would the world be like without bees? It is certainly not a trivial question, given the numerous dangers that are putting the survival of these pollinating insects under strain.

Impure skin: thanks to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, honey is an excellent ally for impure and acne-prone skin. In fact, it is very useful to alleviate redness, inflammation, dermatitis and to promote skin healing in the case of abrasions, wounds and burns. It is also useful for soothing chapped lips and protecting them from the elements. All skin types: certainly two of the most immediate uses of honey are to apply it directly to the skin, as a beauty mask, and to use it in the preparation of scrubs and scrub for the face and body. You can create your own homemade scrub by adding brown sugar to honey and rubbing it into the areas of interest. This way the scrub will be effective without being too aggressive on the skin. Alternatively, you can add a tablespoon of honey to your existing scrub to give it that extra touch of sweetness.

Hair can also benefit from the constant use of honey. Its soothing, nourishing and antibacterial properties act directly on the hair and scalp. It helps eliminate dead cells that can clog hair follicles and acts to prevent the appearance of dandruff, as well as alleviating annoying itchiness. Honey is also a valuable source of nourishment and hydration. For maximum benefits, we can use it to create wraps and masks. For example, for dry and brittle hair, you can make a pre-wash mask with honey and coconut oil, to be left on for at least 15 minutes, or mix olive oil and honey for a pack to be applied on all lengths.
