Biodiversa: the presentation of the 3Bee app in preview

During the Biodiversity Summit 2024, 3Bee will be premiering Biodiversa, the free biodiversity monitoring and ecosystem protection app that allows you to easily identify the plants and flowers you encounter during an outdoor walk by harnessing the most advanced photo recognition and machine learning technologies. A citizen science project that aims to create a cooperative archive dedicated to flora (and in a second phase to fauna) in Europe, involving users with challenges to catalogue species, some of which are rare or endangered. Biodiversa promises to revolutionise the way we interact with nature, while also offering opportunities for innovative and sustainable team building. Through the app, company employees will be able to participate in a global citizen science mission.

    New approaches to communicating biodiversity

3Bee has always experimented with new languages to communicate biodiversity, with the aim of reaching the widest possible audience and raising awareness of important environmental issues. Also at the second edition of the Biodiversity Summit, innovative approaches to communicating key environmental issues will be explored. Fill Pill, known for his unique approach to science outreach, will present a stand-up comedy monologue focusing on stereotypes about nature and our perception of biodiversity. Not only that: Alterales, cartoonist and activist, will draw live for the duration of the Summit, with the aim of composing the puzzle of the highlights of the event. The artistic work will be presented at the end of the day to further stimulate reflection among participants.
