Nature Observation AI was created for this purpose. You upload images, videos, or audio files — or connect a public Google Drive folder with no size limit — and the model analyses the visual and acoustic characteristics of each file.
For each observation, you receive ready-to-use information:
- scientific name and common name;
- confidence percentage of the identification;
- complete taxonomic classification;
- IUCN conservation status, when available.
The files are grouped into a
census batch processed asynchronously: you can see in real-time the progress of files pending, completed, and failed, without waiting for the entire batch to finish. Species identified with low confidence are flagged as
to be verified, and you can contact an expert directly from the platform to validate them.
