    Technical assistance and training

Action A provides for a specific sub-action, A6, concerning the purchase of equipment for running the apiary, processing, packaging and preserving beekeeping products. The notice lists some of the equipment included in these expenditure items, such as overalls, tools for honey extraction and packaging, but also for handling and for carrying out checks and measurements. The list is purely indicative and not exhaustive, and does not exclude specific equipment for running the apiary. The contribution covers 50% of the expenditure. The maximum expenditure limit per individual applicant is EUR 6,000.00, subject to any subsequent allocation of advanced funds. Beneficiaries of this measure are professional beekeepers, individual or associated beekeeping entrepreneurs and cooperative societies. It is necessary to have a regular VAT number, to be based in Umbria and to have at least 40 beehives regularly reported in the BDA.

    Monitoring systems for beehives

Our remote monitoring systems are also included in these expenses. Our scales and anti-theft devices allow better and more rational management of beekeeping activity, especially in the case of nomadic beekeeping. Having your bees under control at all times, you can plan targeted visits and interventions, avoiding empty trips and saving time. Monitoring devices will also provide you with valuable information on production and stock consumption, as well as the state of the colony. On your profile you can organise your work, enter notes, schedule tasks and even set warning thresholds. With anti-theft devices you can then protect your crates and monitor them in case of theft. As soon as the system detects abnormal movement or vibration, specific alarms are sent to you via SMS and email. By entering the app, you can directly track your movements around the house.
