    Measures financed

As in the past three years, the national plans will touch on various areas of the sector, from the promotion of training activities to the rationalisation of nomadism, from the fight against hive aggressors to the improvement of the quality of hive products for their greater valorisation on the market. Europe allocated the funds very recently. Read on to find out more details.

Regional tenders and funds for 2020

Each three-year period runs, as usual, from 1 August to 31 July. Each region will then publish the specific calls for tender. According to Coldiretti, from August, Agea will make available the application forms that, according to the regional timing, must be submitted no later than 15 March of the following year. For the 2019-2020 year, € 3,544,718.00 has been allocated for Italy, which corresponds to 50% of the amount of the approved Programme. The remaining 50% will be financed by the Revolving Fund, for a total of € 7,089,436.00. The funds are distributed among the individual regions on the basis of the number of hives present, quantified on the basis of the archives of the National Bee Register, and taking into account the individual regional sub-programmes of national interest. In the table below you can find the region-by-region breakdown of the allocated funds.

    Remote monitoring systems for nomadism

Measures for the rationalisation of transhumance (nomadism) very often also include remote monitoring systems that allow the beekeeper to check the level of production, the state of stocks and the health of the hive. Using these devices, the beekeeper can schedule targeted interventions only when necessary, saving time and money, reducing travel and already knowing what to do when he arrives at the apiary. Our devices allow you to do this and much more. Not only do they help you keep an eye on what is happening in the apiary, they help you manage your business better. You will no longer have to make empty trips and you will always know if you have to bring empty honeycombs to change or if they are not yet sufficiently saturated. Already many beekeepers have availed themselves of our systems: find out how!
