The costs covered by the call

Specifically, the call provides for two measures. Measure B: fight against hive aggressors and diseases, in particular varroasis. Included in this measure is action b.3, specifically for the purchase of equipment of various kinds. Measure C: Rationalisation of transhumance. This measure includes action c.2, relating to the purchase of equipment, and sub-action c.2.2 for the purchase of machinery, equipment and various materials specific to the practice of nomadism. The minimum expenditure allowed is €2,000.00, while the maximum may not exceed €10,000.00 (excluding VAT). Depending on the number of hives, specific maximum thresholds are also set: 5,000.00 € from 50 to 150 hives; 7,500.00 € from 151 to 240 hives; 10,000.00 € from 241 hives.

    Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries eligible to apply for aid are beekeepers, beekeeping entrepreneurs and professional beekeepers with residence or registered office in Campania. Beekeepers must have at least 50 hives, a Unique Identification Code and must have registered their hives with the Regional Beekeeping Database. They must also have their own business file in the SIAN database and be registered in the Chamber of Commerce business register. As a general rule, in order to be eligible for funding, the beekeeper must have duly reported a number of hives at least equal to that of the total number of hives funded in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020.

    Submission of Applications

Aid applications must be addressed to the paying agency AGEA. More specifically, they must be delivered to the territorial offices of the Campania Region on the basis of the provincial competence criterion. Applications, unless submitted via PEC, must be submitted in a duly sealed and countersigned envelope. The envelope must bear the following wording: "APPLICATION FOR CO-FINANCING REGULATION (EU) No 1308/2013 HONEY - Beekeeping Year 2021" and must be complete in all its parts. Applications may therefore be submitted by hand, sent by registered mail A.R. or by PEC to the specific addresses for each location. Applications must be delivered by 4/11/2020, i.e. 30 days after the publication of the notice in the BUR Campania. You can find the documentation on the sian website in the Download section.

Purchase of scales and anti-theft devices

Only for beekeeping companies practising nomadism (as indicated in BDA_R) are also eligible expenses relating to the purchase of anti-theft devices and scales for hives. Scales and anti-theft devices must be brand new and have a remote data transmission system. The contribution covers 50% of the maximum eligible expenditure. The equipment must be identified either by a serial number or by an indelible mark. Read on to find out how to apply.

    Choose 3Bee devices

Our remote monitoring systems are therefore also included in these expenses. Our scales and anti-theft devices allow better and more rational management of beekeeping activity, especially in the case of nomadic beekeeping. Having your bees under control at all times, you can plan targeted visits and interventions, avoiding empty trips and saving time. Monitoring devices will also provide you with valuable information on production and stock consumption, as well as the state of the colony. On your profile you can organise your work, enter notes, schedule activities and even set warning thresholds. With anti-theft devices you can then protect your crates and monitor them in case of theft. As soon as the system detects abnormal movement or vibration, specific alarms are sent to you via SMS and email. By entering the app, you can directly track your movements around the house.
