    Measures financed

Three measures are open for the Lazio region: (a) Technical assistance to beekeepers and beekeeping organisations (MEASURE A) Refresher and training courses for individuals (Sub-Action A.1.2) - 80% financed Thematic seminars and conferences (Action A.2) - 100% financed b) Rationalisation of transhumance (MEASURE C) Purchase of beehives (Sub-Action C.2.1) - 60% financed Purchase of machinery, equipment and various materials for nomadism (Sub-Action C.2.2) - 50% financed c) Support measures for restocking the Union's bee population (MEASURE E) Purchase of swarms, nuclei, bee packages and queen bees (Action E.1) - 60% financed Purchase of breeding beekeeping equipment (Action E.2) - 60% financed

    Beneficiaries

With regard to Actions C.2 and E.1 and E.2, the beneficiaries are beekeepers who have complied with their hive identification and registration obligations. The measure relating to the rationalisation of transhumance is obviously aimed exclusively at nomadic beekeepers. Moreover, it is necessary for everyone to have a duly constituted and updated business file in the National Agricultural Information System (SIAN). Beekeepers must have a regular VAT number, be registered with the relevant CCIAA (Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture), and a company code issued by the ASL (local health authority) following registration in the beekeeping registry office, which also corresponds to a regular declaration of hives. It is also necessary to conduct at least 5 hives. Only for those who apply for action C.2, there must be clear evidence of nomadism in the hives report.

    Rationalisation of transhumance

In the measure on the rationalisation of transhumance, there are two different sub-actions. Sub-action C.2.1 provides for the purchase of beehives, hives and frames, for nesting and honeycombing. The subsidy covers 60% of the expenditure incurred. At the same time, sub-action C.2.2 covers 50% of the expenses incurred for the purchase of machinery, equipment and various materials strictly related to the practice of nomadism. A maximum cost is indicated for each type of expenditure, and for some of them a certain number of regularly reported hives is also required, such as the purchase of wheelbarrows, trailers, hydraulic tailboards and forklifts. All non-consumable material must be kept on the farm for a minimum of 5 years (beehives and similar equipment) or 10 years (machinery for specific use).

    Remote monitoring systems

Our remote monitoring systems are also included in these expenses. Our scales and anti-theft devices allow better and more rational management of beekeeping activity, especially in the case of nomadic beekeeping. Having your bees under control at all times, you can plan targeted visits and interventions, avoiding empty trips and saving time. Monitoring devices will also provide you with valuable information on production and stock consumption, as well as the state of the colony. On your profile you can organise your work, enter notes, schedule activities and even set warning thresholds. With anti-theft devices you can then protect your crates and monitor them in case of theft. As soon as the system detects abnormal movement or vibration, specific alarms are sent to you via SMS and email. By entering the app, you can directly track the movement of the till.
