    Why the Adopt-a-Hive Project?

As you all already know, bees are precious, let's even say indispensable. Just think that a single hive can pollinate up to 225,000 flowers a day. Their work is irreplaceable, let's say they contribute directly to the survival of the planet. Imagine a world without bees, a world in which coffee, lemons, chocolate, onions, apples, carrots, watermelons, citrus fruits, pears, almonds, peaches, kiwis, chestnuts, cherries, apricots, plums, melons, tomatoes, courgettes, soya, sunflowers, rapeseed, cucumbers, celery, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli would not exist. These crops are partially or fully dependent on pollination by bees. Of the 100 crops that make up 90 per cent of the world's food production, as many as 71 are tied to the pollination work of bees! To get an idea of the impact of bees on our tables, think that in Europe alone, as many as 4,000 different crops grow thanks to them.

    Why the Adopt-a-Hive Project?

    No bees, no food

Away with milk, yoghurt, butter, cream, ice cream, cheese. Why? These products would not exist without pollinators. In a world without bees, there would not even be enough fodder for cows. Bees are suffering an unprecedented decline due to multiple factors, Goodbye Bees. Honey production has also plummeted. Goodbye Honey with all its incredible beneficial properties! To support the Earth, therefore, it is now possible to ADOPT A BEehive from a distance. The beekeepers are not the only ones.

How to participate in the Adopt-a-Hive project?

Simply choose on the map the bee farm you want to adopt and the type of honey you prefer. You choose one of the offered adoption options (for the sweet tooth up to 5 kg of 100% Italian honey). Adoption lasts one year, you receive a personalised adoption certificate by e-mail and you can monitor the adopted hive from your PC, tablet or smartphone to follow its progress and growth. Regular updates and videos of your hive will be published by the beekeepers on our app! As a reward, at the end of the production season you receive home from the adopted hive a quantity of honey directly proportional to the number of bees you decided to support. A sweet reward directly from the bees and the supported local beekeeper! In addition, you can make a unique solidarity gift.

But then 3Bee steals honey from bees!? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

3Bee 'steals' from the bees only the surplus from the hive. We have started negotiations to get more honey, but our queens are tough. For now, we give the bees better survival and the help they need when they need it! Our beekeepers follow a strict protocol whereby they are not allowed to use harmful and illegal treatments on the bees, must preferably nomadise and must constantly monitor the health of the bees remotely through our technology. A Bzzz from your 3Bee bees!
