3Bee launches the XNatura Regeneration Awards

On the occasion of the World Biodiversity Day, 3Bee is launching the XNatura Regeneration Awards, an initiative aimed at selecting and supporting the most deserving environmental regeneration projects worldwide with a financial contribution. This year, the theme of the World Biodiversity Day is "In harmony with nature and sustainable development", an invitation to reflect on the importance of achieving a balance between the needs for progress and the protection of natural ecosystems, through solutions that integrate social well-being, sustainable development, and biodiversity conservation. In this context, the XNatura Regeneration Awards represent a concrete commitment to environmental interventions that can meet these needs, but also serve as replicable models for the future.

"With this initiative, we want to contribute to the creation of new Biodiversity Oases around the world by selecting the most deserving environmental regeneration projects that meet criteria of innovation, sustainability, and environmental impact," says Niccolò Calandri, CEO of 3Bee. "We will support the implementation of the projects over three years, and through the XNatura environmental monitoring platform, we will observe their evolution, ensuring that the interventions have measurable and lasting results over time."

Participation is open to all landowners worldwide who wish to propose environmental regeneration projects. Registrations are open from May 22 to September 1, 2025, and selected projects will be announced on December 5, 2025, after an evaluation phase. To participate, applicants must submit a detailed proposal through the typeform available on the 3Bee website, including a development plan for the next three years, demonstrating how the intervention will contribute to biodiversity restoration and the improvement of local ecosystems. The aim of the initiative is to select up to 3 environmental regeneration projects that meet specific criteria, with a particular focus on interventions able to restore ecological value to degraded areas, providing each with a financial contribution of 5,000€ per year for three years, starting from 2026.

The proposed projects will be evaluated by a jury consisting of experts and industry professionals, both internal and external to 3Bee, based on four criteria: the novelty of the approach and proposed solutions, the applicability and feasibility of the project, its effectiveness in contributing to the regeneration of biodiversity and ecosystems, and the ability to ensure lasting results over time and to be replicable in other areas. The Environmental Platform of XNatura, the nature intelligence division within 3Bee srl, will be used both in the evaluation phase to screen projects with the greatest potential impact, and to monitor and measure the effectiveness of regeneration interventions once initiated.
