Immersed in the nature of Lake Garda

The four influencers were welcomed on 22 June by one of the many beekeepers of 3Bee, a historic villa from the 1700s located near Salò, on the magnificent Lake Garda. For them, a special programme has been developed to introduce them to the beauty of the area. Excursions on horseback, e-bike rides, wine tastings, pilates among the olive trees. These are just some of the activities organised during the 3-day stay at the estate! But the activity that left the greatest impression was the visit to the apiary. Guided by apiculturist Giacomo Almici, Giulia Valentina, Paola Turani, Tia Taylor and Stefano Guerrera were able to experience being 'beekeepers for a day'. Equipped with the appropriate overalls, they were able to learn about the world of bees, beekeepers and the sustainability project "Adopt a beehive" the queens bred at the beekeeping activity, and then participate in their insertion into the hives.

    4 Dedicated hives to adopt

3Bee thought of giving and exclusively dedicating a beehive to each of them! Giulia, Paola, Tia and Stefano were able to choose the name of the hive, just as they were able to "christen" the queen by personally introducing her into each bee family. The hives of the 4 influencers were made available to the entire community for adoption. How? Through the project "Adopt a 3Bee hive". You receive a personalised adoption certificate (with the names of the hives and queens chosen by Giulia, Paola, Tia and Stefano). You receive by e-mail the credentials to remotely monitor the chosen hive for a whole year. At the end of the beekeeping season, you will receive the honey produced directly at home. You will thus bring 100% genuine and artisanal honey to your tables, concretely helping to protect bees, nature and support local Italian beekeepers.

Bees, important insects for the planet

Indeed, bees are very important pollinating insects. Unfortunately, pesticides, diseases, parasites, depletion of habitats and climate change are putting their survival to the test. In the last 10 years, as many as 10 million hives have been lost. A world without bees would be quite different from the one we know now. Indeed, most of the fruit and vegetables we eat every day depend directly on pollination by bees, as do 90% of plants and wild flowers. Today, it is beekeepers who, with their daily care, manage to preserve bees from these constant threats. With the help of 3Bee technology, keeping an eye on the health and growth of their hives is even easier. By adopting a 3Bee hive, you make a concrete contribution to these local virtuous activities, which are committed to the protection of these precious pollinators.
