EIMA 2021: 3Bee and Environmental Biomonitoring

EIMA International is the International Exhibition of Agricultural and Gardening Machinery, a biennial event promoted since 1969 by FederUnacoma (Federazione Nazionale Costruttori Macchine per l'Agricoltura - National Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers) and organised by its service company FederUnacoma surl, in cooperation with BolognaFiere. The Exhibition, organised in 14 product sectors and also articulated in the specialised salons of EIMA Components, EIMA Green, EIMA Energy, EIMA Idrotech and EIMA Digital, is attended directly by manufacturers from every continent, presenting the cutting-edge technologies of the sector worldwide. The organisation of the exhibition allows a huge audience of professional and amateur visitors to focus on the sectors of interest and thus better organise their visit. EIMA is attended by trade missions from 60 countries.

For 3Bee, the trade fair represents an opportunity for dialogue with all stakeholders to deepen the proposal of products and services aimed at safeguarding ecosystems and biodiversity. Environmental biomonitoring with 3Bee technology bees is a guarantee service for farmers who adopt the principles of sustainability, but also a security for end consumers. Through the application of technological systems and the positioning of honey bees - supervised by experienced farmers - in the vicinity of crops, it is possible to monitor and analyse pollinators in the periods before and after phyto- and pesticide treatments. The data are a demonstration of the effects of these actions on the fields and are communicated directly to the end consumer, who can constantly monitor the health of the bees: an opportunity to "shorten the distance" and demonstrate the sustainability of the entire supply chain in a concrete way.

The application of 3Bee solutions makes it possible to increase the site-specific productivity of fields, improve farm profitability and minimise environmental impact. Concrete results that confirm the broader commitment pursued by 3Bee in terms of environmental, social and economic sustainability and that will be brought right to EIMA, during the four-day exhibition.
