Call For Funding For Beekeeping In Trentino

On 30 October, the Provincial Council of Trento approved by resolution the opening of the call for funding for beekeeping in Trentino for the year 2020/2021. The funded fields are divided into actions and sub-actions: Refresher and training courses for individuals (A.1.2) Technical assistance to companies (A4) Equipment for processing, packaging and preserving beekeeping products (A6) Miscellaneous equipment (B3) Purchase of machinery, equipment and various materials specific to the practice of nomadism (C.2.2) Payment of expenditure for quality analyses of beekeeping products (D3) Purchase of swarms, nuclei, bee packages and queen bees (E1) Purchase of breeding beekeeping equipment (E2)

Beneficiaries are research institutes, bodies, beekeepers, beekeeping producers and associated forms. They must have a company file on the SIAN. They must have a VAT number and a PEC. Beekeepers must also be in compliance with identification and registration obligations for apiaries and hives. Specifically, the measures that directly affect beekeepers are A6, B3, C.2.2, E1 and E2. Purchase of machinery, equipment and materials

The contribution covers 50% of eligible expenses. Beekeepers who have reported at least 20 hives and regularly practice nomadism are eligible to apply. The equipment that may be included in the application for a contribution are non-agricultural trailers, supports for positioning hives, platforms for transporting hives, variable arm cranes, and remote monitoring and control systems for hives (with a maximum expenditure limit of €1,200). Again, to submit an application for funding, you must use the model downloadable from the SIAN website and the cost estimates.

Purchase of remote monitoring systems for beehives

These expenses also include our remote monitoring systems. Our scales and anti-theft devices allow for better and more rational management of beekeeping activity, especially in the case of nomadism. Having your bees under control at all times, you can schedule targeted visits and interventions, avoiding empty trips and saving time. Monitoring devices will also provide you with valuable information on production and stock consumption, as well as the state of the colony. On your profile you can organise your work, enter notes, schedule tasks and even set warning thresholds. With anti-theft devices you can then protect your crates and monitor them in case of theft. As soon as the system detects abnormal movement or vibration, specific alarms are sent to you via SMS and email. By entering the app, you can directly track your movements around the house.

    Hive tech, monitoring system

When you choose the new Hive-Tech model, you will have the option of submitting only one quote, as we will provide you, together with the quote, with a declaration of uniqueness stating that there are no products on the market with similar features and functionality. The new version of Hive-Tech includes additions and improvements in both hardware and firmware. The optimised system will then guarantee access to the soon-to-be-released APP. The announcement then stipulates the need to affix the specific indelible mark to each product purchased through contributions. We can take care of this directly by laser engraving the required wording directly on the devices. Ask us when preparing your quote, you will not incur any additional costs!
