    Rationalisation of transhumance

The measure C focuses on the rationalisation of transhumance. There is only one action, C.2, relating to the purchase of equipment for nomadism. Eligible expenses relate to the purchase of machinery for handling beehives, the cost of installing cranes, swap bodies, hydraulic tailgates and related testing costs. Finally, the beehive monitoring and telematic management systems, including application software, are also included. The contribution covers 50% of the expenditure, which must be a minimum of 3,000.00€ and a maximum of 16,000.00€. With regard to materials, equipment and apparatus whose usefulness does not end within one year, they must be kept on the farm for a minimum period of 5 years for beehives and equipment and 10 years for plant, machinery and furnishings for premises for specific use.

    Purchase of 3Bee monitoring systems

Our remote monitoring systems are also included in these expenses. Our balances and our anti-theft devices allow better and more rational management of beekeeping activity, especially in the case of nomadism. By always keeping an eye on your bees, you can schedule visits and targeted interventions, avoiding empty trips and saving time. Monitoring devices will also give you precious information on production and stock consumption, as well as the status of the colony. On your profile you can organise your work, enter notes, schedule tasks and even set warning thresholds. With anti-theft devices you can then protect your crates and monitor them in case of theft. As soon as the system detects abnormal movement or vibration, specific alarms are sent to you via SMS and email.

    The Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries of measures B and C are beekeeping producers with a registered office in Lombardy. They must have a regular VAT number and have hives registered according to the regulations in force. If they have their registered office in disadvantaged mountain areas, it is sufficient to have at least 40 regularly registered hives. For all others, the minimum threshold of hives is 80. These beekeepers must also have an open and updated business file in Sis.Co. In the specific case of Measure C, nomadism is obviously required.

A prerequisite for submitting an application is to have established and updated one's business file with the Paying Agency of Lombardy. This can be submitted from 5 November 2020 to 20 January 2021. Documents to be attached

The documentation to be included in measures B and C requires the submission of at least 3 different cost estimates from independent suppliers for each type of goods purchase. The quotations must be stamped and signed, showing formulation data and period of validity. In the event that the goods are such that no other possible suppliers can be identified on the market, a specific technical report must be included with the single quotation submitted, demonstrating the impossibility of identifying other suppliers for that good. For more detailed information please consult the site of the region and read the text of the tender directly.
